Matt Persicketti Personal Profile
Personal information:
I have been in the sales industry since I was 18 years old. I enjoy
sales and helping clients so much, I have never considered doing
anything else. My first commission job was as a window and door
salesman at a home improvement store. I was the first employee to be
offered a salary plus commission position in the department, and came
to realize that not only is “commission” not a bad word, but a great
one! Once I started earning commissions, I made sure that every
detail was covered for the customer. I not only sold doors and
windows, I sold nails, caulk, shims, trim, and everything the
customer needed to do the job correctly, without having to make six
trips to the store. That job taught me to ask my customers the right
questions, and I have been asking the right questions ever since.
Sales became a true career for me when I took a position as a
floorcovering salesman with a local retailer in 1992. I spent 12
years with the company and was consistently the top salesman at my
location. I have worked with over 8000 clients and I can count on
one hand the number of clients I did not enjoy working with. I
helped clients select floors to decorate their homes that ranged
from condominiums and trailer to multi-million dollar estates. My
success as a salesman in the company resulted in an eventual
promotion to Sales Manager of the location. The pay was great but I
quickly began to miss sales. Although I loved the
sales staff working under me, I was not happy because I was no longer
meeting and helping new clients.
After much encouragement from realtors and builders I had worked
with, I decided to begin my career as a realtor. I began my career
with a national franchise, and learned a lot very quickly. My career
was exciting once again because I was doing what I love… helping
people! Helping relieve the stress of buying and selling homes for
my clients is always my goal and their heartfelt ‘thank you’ is more
rewarding than any commission.
In 2006, I decided to change offices and work for TLC Real Estate
Services, Inc. The reasons were simple, I could help people buy and
sell homes, and save them money in the process! Our commission rates
are the lowest in the industry, and our service is second to none!
I am married
to my wife April and we have four children, Tommy, Bianca, Cecilia
and Dino. Dino was born in 2006 and before his birth, an ultrasound
revealed that he would be born with a cleft lip, and potentially a
cleft palate.
My wife and I were naturally concerned and did a lot of research on
the birth defect. It was during this research that we came across an
organization called “The Smile Train”.
They are a zero overhead charity that arranges for
doctors to perform corrective surgery for
underprivileged children across the world at no charge!
Dino was born with his palate intact, and a minor
cleft lip, we were very fortunate. One minor surgery
corrected his lip. Others are not as fortunate.
The Smile Train can perform corrective surgery at
only $250.00 per child. Therefore I have decided to
donate $250.00 to The Smile Train, in my client’s
name, upon closing of every transaction I am
involved with.
Thank you for visiting my site and I look forward to helping you will all of your real estate needs.
